An academic webinar was arranged by the Denning Consultants on 4th June on the topic, “Concept of Liberalism and the way it has Shaped the Debate on Legalising Physician-Assisted Suicide in the context of Jurisprudence.” This online educational lecture was headed by the very capable Helen Carter of the University of Law. Helen briefly yet conspicuously explained the issue by explaining both the point of view of the UK Government and Liberals. She discussed the roots of liberalism, the legal concept of liberalism, and the point of view of the judges and MPs. To put across her message in a better way, she talked about the cases of ms. Pretty, ms. Prudy, Mr. Nickilson, and Conway that greatly helped the students to relate to the topic.
Denning Consultants feels very proud of itself to have arranged such an informative and enlightening online session that helped the students of law from entire Pakistan to have a closer and clearer look on the picture of these hot topics. We also received an amazing response from the students who actually loved and enjoyed the session all along. We would like to thank The University of Law and especially Helen Carter and Raury Mason for giving us their precious time and for stunningly explaining these topics. Denning Consultants hopes to continue arranging such educational lectures for the law students so that they can understand the UK constitution and law, effectively.
